NEWS Round Up: Obama hosts a festival ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

President Obama will be hosting his own music festival on October 2nd.

South by South Lawn, inspired by the American festival South by Southwest, is intended to “bring together creators, innovators and organizers who work day in and day out to improve the lives of their fellow Americans and people around the world,” according to a White House statement.

The White House is currently accepting nominations for inspiring American artists.

Maybe Mr President got inspired by the Parks and Recs Unity concert.
